Ricky Robles, of the Braves, set the single season record for total bases (369) by a first baseman and the single season record for RBI (141) by a first baseman.

Adam McGahee of the Pirates set the single season record for Doubles (47) by a first baseman.

Brent Wager of the Dodgers set the single season record for assists (134) by a first baseman.

Second Base

Matt Singer, of the Braves, set the records for hits (266), total bases (387), singles (199), and WAR (9.25) by a second baseman in a single season.

Chase Notch, of the Phillies, set the single season record for stolen bases (107) in a single season by a second baseman.

Trent Young, of the Rockies, set the single season records as a third baseman for at bats (698), hits (249), and total bases (398),.

Scott Bisson, of the Braves, set the single season record for assists (387) in a single season by a third baseman.

Shortstop

Tony Nava, of the Cubs, set the single season record for assists (596) by a shortstop.
